Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms Royalway.dk (hereinafter “Royalway”) enables users to book chauffeur-driven transportation services through its website and mobile applications (“Royalway Platforms”). Royalway arranges transportation services provided by independent Transportation Service Providers (“TSPs”). Royalway itself does not provide transportation services directly.
These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the booking arrangements between the user and Royalway. Any contradictory terms by the user are invalid unless explicitly agreed to by Royalway management in writing.
2. Contractual Relationship and Booking
2.1 Contractual Relationship Royalway facilitates a transportation contract directly between the user and the TSP. Royalway’s role is limited to arranging bookings and processing payments. Users have direct claims against TSPs for the provision of transportation services.
2.2 Booking Confirmation Submitting a booking via Royalway Platforms constitutes a request for a transportation arrangement. Royalway will acknowledge receipt via email, which is not a booking confirmation. The booking is confirmed only upon receiving a formal booking confirmation from Royalway by email, after which the user is entitled to receive services from the TSP.
3. User Registration The user must provide accurate and complete information. Automated registration methods are prohibited.
4. Transportation Service Conditions
4.1 Types of Rides and Changes Royalway offers various ride services including transfers, hourly bookings, long-distance rides, and on-demand services. Requests for additional services or ride alterations may incur additional charges.
4.2 Pickup Time The pickup time specified in the booking confirmation is binding. For airport or train station pickups, delays are tracked and accommodated based on the flight/train numbers provided.
4.3 Vehicle Class and Upgrades Royalway offers several vehicle classes. Availability of specific vehicle models is not guaranteed. Royalway may upgrade the vehicle class without additional charge subject to availability.
4.4 Transport Safety
4.4.1 Luggage and Animals Only luggage declared during booking is guaranteed for transportation. TSPs may refuse transportation of undeclared excess luggage, weapons, or animals. Extra charges apply if accommodated.
4.4.2 Children and Minors Child seats must be requested at booking. Unaccompanied minors may be refused transportation.
4.4.3 Passenger and Luggage Capacity Royalway specifies maximum passenger and luggage capacities for each vehicle class. TSPs reserve the right to refuse transport based on safety or capacity constraints.
4.4.4 Transport Refusal TSPs may refuse service if mandatory conditions are not properly communicated. Users remain liable for charges in such cases.
4.5 Delays Royalway and TSPs are not liable for delays caused by exceptional circumstances such as strikes, extreme weather, or unforeseen events.
4.6 Cancellations and No-Shows
4.6.1 Cancellation Policy Cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup are free of charge. Later cancellations incur the full charge.
4.6.2 Rebookings Rebookings are treated as new bookings subject to cancellation terms above.
4.6.3 No-Show Policy Users failing to appear within 30 minutes (60 minutes for airport/train pickups) after scheduled pickup time are charged the full ride price.
4.7 Behavior During Ride Users must follow traffic laws, driver instructions, and maintain respectful behavior. Smoking and consuming food or alcohol without permission are prohibited. Violations may incur cleaning and service disruption fees.
4.8 Fair Mileage Policy For hourly bookings, a maximum of 20 kilometers per booked hour is included. Additional kilometers beyond this limit may incur extra charges based on the applicable rate. Additionally, any tolls, bridge charges, or related travel expenses incurred during the ride may be charged separately to the user, depending on the circumstances.
5. Pricing and Payments
5.1 Payment Terms Ride prices depend on vehicle class, distance, booking timing, and additional services requested. Payments are processed by credit card; Royalway covers credit card transaction fees.
5.2 Ride Changes Ride upgrades or extended services after booking confirmation incur recalculated charges based on the actual services provided.
5.3 Additional Charges Waiting times and additional kilometers beyond booked service limits incur extra charges, detailed in booking confirmations.
5.4 Transaction Issues Failed payments or delayed settlements may incur administrative charges or fees.
5.5 Invoice Issuance Invoices are provided electronically via user accounts and are payable immediately unless stated otherwise.
5.6 Voucher Usage Vouchers must be used individually, cannot be combined, and are non-cash redeemable.
6. Liability
6.1 Liability Limitations Royalway is liable only for direct damages resulting from gross negligence or intentional misconduct by itself or its direct representatives. TSPs and their drivers are not considered representatives of Royalway.
6.2 Content and Platform Reliability Royalway does not guarantee complete accuracy or uninterrupted availability of platform content, except for intentional or gross negligence instances.
6.3 Third-Party Links Royalway bears no responsibility for third-party content linked from its platforms.
6.4 Data Transmission Royalway is not liable for data transmission errors or access disruptions caused by external factors beyond its control.
6.5 User Indemnity Users indemnify Royalway against any third-party claims resulting from misuse or violation of these T&Cs.
6.6 Forgotten Items Royalway assumes no responsibility for items left behind in vehicles.
7. Changes to Royalway Services Royalway reserves the right to modify or terminate its services and platform at its discretion.
8. Intellectual Property Rights Content provided on Royalway platforms is protected by copyright. Unauthorized use beyond intended purposes is prohibited.
